Welcome to the Earl Soham Community Primary School PTFA!
Our Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a registered charity run by parent volunteers, with the support of school staff, families and our wider community.
Our aim is simple: to enhance and enrich the educational experience for all pupils at Earl Soham Community Primary School.
Through fundraising events and activities, we raise money to subsidise school trips, provide classroom resources and playground equipment, and support experiences beyond the school's usual budget. We've also contributed towards larger projects, including most recently the building of a new ELSA (emotional literacy support assistant) cabin.
Everything we achieve is thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our wonderful school community.
Events & Fundraising
Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events that bring families together and raise valuable funds for the school.
Our calendar typically includes seasonal fetes or stay and plays after school, a BBQ at Proms on the Playground, and numerous other refreshment and cake sales throughout the school year.
We're always looking for new ideas and welcome suggestions from parents and carers. Details of upcoming events are shared via the school.
How You Can Support Us
There are lots of ways to support the PTFA, whether you have time to volunteer or simply want to contribute to our fundraising.
Volunteer: From helping at an event or baking cakes to donating children’s toys for tombola prizes or organising activities, every bit of help is appreciated. There's no expectation to join the committee or make a regular commitment.
Easyfundraising: Raise money for the PTFA at no extra cost when shopping online. Visit easyfundraising and search for Earl Soham Community Primacy School – Woodbridge.
My Nametags: Support us when ordering name labels at My Nametags using school ID 50657.
Pre-loved uniform: Good-quality donated school uniform is available to purchase, helping families save money while reducing waste. Contact Clare Cotton in the school office, or email esptfa@gmail.com to enquire about available items. Donations of clean, good-condition uniform can be left at the school office.
Business support and match funding: We're always grateful to local businesses who donate raffle prizes, vouchers or sponsorship. If your business or employer could support our fundraising, please get in touch. We acknowledge business contributions in our event promotions wherever possible.
Donations: If you'd like to make a financial contribution to the PTFA, please contact us for details. Small, regular donations by standing order are also very much appreciated.
