EADT Sports Equipment for Schools

Once again we have registered with the East Anglian Daily Times to take part in their Sports Equipment for Schools offer. This gives the school the chance to win new sporting items, the EADT aim is to get children more active with a by line of ‘Get Out and Get Active’ and understand better the benefits of daily exercise.

By collecting daily and weekly tokens in-paper, primary schools across the region will have the chance to win a share of the equipment. The winning schools (tokens as a ratio to pupils) will receive a full primary athletics kit worth over £1,000 plus a visit from a professional athlete who has represented Great Britain who will instil a message of hard work and resilience in the children and help encourage them to follow their dreams. Second prize will be a Sports Hall Triathlon kit worth £750.

Every other school that collects more than 1,000 tokens will receive a pack worth over £120.

If you, your friends, relatives or neighbours have the EADT paper please could I ask you to cut out the tokens and send them into school, ideally in counted bundles (saves me hours of work).

Start Collecting – first tokens will appear Monday 9th May, final token Saturday 16th July. The two schools with the most tokens (as an average per pupil) will win the main two prizes meaning that all schools have a chance, both big and small.
