in response to the Coronavirus pandemic and Government advice and guidance Earl Soham Community Primary school has written a full and comprehensive Risk Assessment. This has now been fully revised to take account of changes during the second period of partial school closure (Spring Term 2021). The implementation of this revised risk assessment has enabled the school to reopen fully to all year groups.
The Risk Assessment is a dynamic document which is being continually reviewed in the light of new advice and practical experience. The version shown below has evolved from all previous editions and in particular the Risk Assessment written for full reopening in September 2020. It has been fully reviewed before the second reopening of the school to all pupils on Monday 8th March 2021.
Addendum To our Risk Assessment
An addendum to our risk assessment was prepared in mid September 2020. It can be accessed using the link below. This is currently under review.
Covid-19 Safety Measures
Our risk assessment gives full details of the measures that we have taken to protect against coronavirus and to make the school as covid-19 secure as possible. The slideshows below shows some of the actions that we have taken. It includes signs around the site, hand gel in strategic locations and ventilation (including windows that have been freed up).
